Maria has more than 30 years of experience in a broad range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, with particular focus on Trade Marks, Designs, Copyright, and Domain Names.
She advises on all stages of Trade Mark and design protection, including clearance, filing, and prosecution, and has extensive experience in opposition, revocation, and invalidation proceedings. In parallel, Maria regularly advises national and international clients on the enforcement of their IP rights and has acted in numerous significant IP disputes before the Greek courts, as well as before the General Court and the Court of Justice of the European Union.
Maria heads the firm’s Trade Mark and Design practice and is widely regarded as a leading practitioner in the field of intellectual property law in Greece.
She is a member of the Athens Bar Association and of ECTA, MARQUES, and AIPPI. Maria speaks Greek, English, French, and Spanish.
